It Systems Engineer

IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer required to join an established in house IT team on a Permanent Basis within a Global Engineering business operating across industrial contracting, service and project environments that support customers across the food & beverage, manufacturing, process and nuclear sectors.

This is a broad, varied and hands on IT Infrastructure role supporting the day to day operation, monitoring and maintaining security and performance of the company s IT systems across multiple UK locations.

You ll be tasked with supporting and administering the company s Microsoft Azure/ Entra environments , Microsoft 365, Intune and the company s wider server and IT infrastructure.

The position would suit an experienced Infrastructure Engineer or Systems Engineer who enjoys a varied technical role and is comfortable working across Azure, Entra/Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, servers, networking and cyber security , rather than specialising in just one area.

Experience Desired:

• Strong working knowledge of Azure, Entra/Active Directory, Microsoft 365etc.
• Hands on experience working with Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation, on premise and cloud infrastructure, plus DNS, GPO etc.
• Experience managing company devices, software deployment, mobile communications and ideally Microsoft Intune.
• Good knowledge of switching, routing, Wi-Fi, network monitoring, VoIP, network security and cyber security practices.
• Experience of ERP systems, ideally IFS Cloud, plus Cyber Essentials/ISO27001
