Overview

In this role you will maintain and improve our IT infrastructure, spanning on-premises and cloud environments. You will combine 3rd line support with project delivery, working across Windows, Linux, Entra ID/Azure, and Docker to keep systems reliable and secure. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute IT initiatives that support business goals. This is a hands-on, impact-oriented role in a growing company shaping skylines across the UK and Europe. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that values proactive problem-solving and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 3rd line support for day-to-day IT operations and act as escalation point for complex issues
  • Maintain and manage Windows and Linux servers for performance and security
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity and access management, Conditional Access, MFA and hybrid identity
  • Deploy, manage and secure Azure resources (VMs, networking, storage, backups)
  • Build, deploy and maintain containerised applications with Docker
  • Oversee and configure network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches)
  • Handle system upgrades, patches, and new installations across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Lead IT infrastructure projects from design to deployment
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across platforms
  • Monitor system performance for uptime and reliability
  • Maintain IT documentation and share knowledge within the team
Key requirements
  • Minimum 3 years in an IT Systems Administrator/Engineer role with 3rd line support
  • Strong Windows and Linux server management and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Azure administration (hybrid)
  • Practical experience with Docker and containerised workloads
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco/FortiGate firewalls, routers and switches
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, VPNs and security best practices
  • Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (VMware)
