ONSITE Heathrow / Heston 
£50,000 – £80,000 depending on experience

We are recruiting for an experienced and hands-on IT Systems & Network Administrator to join our client’s IT team.
This is a varied infrastructure role covering network administration, firewall management, virtualisation, servers and end-user support . Strong, practical experience with SonicWall and VMware ESXi/vSphere is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls , including VPNs, security policies and access rules.
• Administer VMware ESXi/vSphere , including virtual machines, backups, snapshots and performance.
• Support Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support across hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Monitor and maintain network, server and virtual infrastructure.
• Support backup, disaster recovery and security requirements.
• Work with external IT suppliers and support infrastructure projects where required.

About You

• 5+ years' experience in an IT Systems, Network Administration or Infrastructure role.
• Proven hands-on experience with SonicWall firewalls – this is essential.
• Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi/vSphere .
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory .
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Relevant IT certifications and experience of multi-site environments, PowerShell or infrastructure monitoring tools would be advantageous.
The Package Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 depending on experience
Location: Heathrow / Heston
Working: Fully office/depot based – no remote working
