IT Systems Support

In this role, you will keep operational technology running smoothly across DHL’s warehouse and transport environments. You will work as part of the IT function, supporting systems like WMS, WCS and TMS, and helping drive digital innovation in a fast-paced logistics setting. You will be the first point of contact for IT issues, coordinate escalations, and contribute to system installations, testing and deployment. This position offers cross-site (Derby and Banbury) hands-on support, governance-aligned documentation, and opportunities to train users and shape IT service delivery.

• Provide on-site IT support and fault diagnosis for operational systems (WMS, WCS, TMS) and desktop environments
• Serve as first point of contact for IT issues, coordinate escalations and ensure smooth service delivery
• Support new business requirements and project activity from installation to deployment and documentation
• Manage hardware procurement, repairs and configuration to keep equipment compliant and operational
• Deliver user training, create test scripts, support change management, and maintain governance-aligned IT documentation
• Travel to Banbury site to provide hands-on IT support across locations

• Previous IT experience, ideally in operational or logistics environments
• Exposure to WMS/WCS/TMS and interest in automation and digitalisation
• Technical capabilities in SQL, macros, data analysis or RPA
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals (networking, hardware, applications, service management)
• Strong communication, customer focus, and ability to train users and manage stakeholders
