Key responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor cloud solutions for performance, cost, and security.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to implement robust security measures.
  • Develop automation scripts for efficient cloud resource management.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex Azure infrastructure issues.
  • Stay current with Azure services and assess their relevance to our business.
  • Document and maintain cloud architectures and configurations.
  • Manage backup and recovery processes in collaboration with the team.
  • Conduct system installations, configurations, and upgrades.
  • Help define technical standards and support protocols.
  • Assist the IT Service Desk with hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Take ownership of assigned technical projects.
  • Support mobile device management and app deployment.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Experience with Intune deployment.
  • 3+ years working in Azure cloud environments, ideally within professional services.
  • Strong grasp of cloud computing and emerging tech trends.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with Meraki Wireless and switching, Sophos XG Firewalls, Sophos Endpoint Protection, and Mimecast.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
