In this role you will contribute to a growing digital platform by developing across the web and, potentially, mobile interfaces. You will work within a close-knit team with leadership exposure, delivering on a broad range of projects for the parent company and its high-traffic sites. The position emphasizes learning in a fast-paced environment, greenfield work, and ongoing feature delivery. Responsibilities- Develop and maintain features across web and, optionally, mobile platforms
- Participate in API development and front-end work using React
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to deliver high-traffic site solutions
- Contribute to greenfield projects and growth initiatives
- Take ownership of assigned areas, propose ideas, and drive implementations to completion
- Maintain and improve features based on user feedback and analytics
- Work with leadership and the MD on priorities and delivery
- Good knowledge of Node.js
- Good knowledge of React
- HTML / CSS / SASS
- TypeScript (comfortable with vanilla JavaScript)
- Working knowledge of MongoDB (or similar NoSQL)
- Comfortable with Linux (daily usage and system administration)
- Desirable: Exposure to Meteor.js
- Desirable: GraphQL (Apollo)
- Desirable: MySQL
- Desirable: NativeScript or React Native
- Desirable: Angular (v4+)
