Overview

In this role you will support Guardian Glass Goole plant IT and Operational Technology infrastructure, collaborating with Operations, Engineering and global IT/OT teams to keep systems reliable. You will help drive technology projects, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to improvements in the manufacturing environment. The job focuses on safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations with a strong emphasis on uptime and cybersecurity. This is a hands-on position that shapes how technology enables production at scale. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain secure, stable plant operations and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of OT infrastructure and process networks
  • Provide day-to-day support for OT systems, network equipment, plant devices, and related technologies
  • Support cybersecurity, patching, antivirus, backup, and compliance per corporate standards
  • Assist with technology projects, upgrades, and lifecycle management
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot and coordinate timely incident resolution
  • Collaborate with production, engineering and global support teams to maintain secure plant operations
  • Manage technical documentation, assets and configuration records
  • Coordinate external vendors and service providers for plant technology systems
  • Support change, maintenance and disaster recovery activities following procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying risks and reliability enhancements
Key requirements
  • Working knowledge of network devices/protocols and server/desktop tech, especially Windows Server
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Experience following change management procedures and maintaining highly available infrastructure
  • Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and collaborative team player who drives continuous improvement
