Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect with strong expertise in designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java-based microservices , cloud architecture, API development, infrastructure automation, and modern data platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining technical solutions, and driving best practices across application and cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-grade applications using Java and cloud-native technologies.
• Lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Define and implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Architect and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes platforms.
• Build and optimize event-driven and messaging-based integrations.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code practices and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, architecture guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Ensure adherence to security, governance, performance, and operational best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java application development and architecture.
• Expertise in API design and integration .
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) .
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) .
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Kafka/MQ or other messaging and event-streaming platforms.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Databricks .
• Strong knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot .
• Containerization experience using Docker .
• Experience leading or mentoring small development teams.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud security frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
