Java Backend Engineer – Secure Systems & HSMs

Cognitive Group | Part of the Focus Cloud Group is seeking a contract Software Engineer to design and build secure, high‑quality backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on performance and robust code.

You will implement cryptographic operations with JCA/JCE, integrate with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), contribute to threat modelling and security reviews, and help maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, collaborating closely with architecture and cloud engineering.
