Overview

In this role you will develop stable, scalable Java applications and services for a gaming environment. You will contribute to the GMR Game Engine Framework, advise on design choices, and extend core engine capabilities. The work blends game design mathematics with software engineering to enhance simulation and RTP calculations. You will collaborate with a forward-thinking team to shape game experiences and performance at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Build game engines on the GMR Game Engine Framework
  • Extend the Game Engine Framework to support unique game designs
  • Incorporate improvements into the core Game Engine Framework
  • Develop tools and systems to improve game simulation and RTP calculation
Key requirements
  • Experience of Java development
  • Mathematics related to game design
  • Scrum and Agile software development methodologies
  • Spring Framework including Spring Boot
  • SQL and RDBMS
  • Git, Maven & Nexus
  • Continuous Integration
  • Docker
  • MySQL
