Overview

As an IT Developer in the CIO IT team, you build and enhance core policy and claims systems, delivering features and regulatory changes. You work in an agile environment, collaborating with stakeholders and receiving Guidewire training to support development. Expect varied, hands-on work with design, coding, testing, and integration of new suppliers and systems. Responsibilities
  • Write and modify software to agreed standards under guidance
  • Test and debug code, re-test to ensure quality
  • Document work with unit tests and participate in code reviews
  • Communicate with team, participate in scrum, design reviews
  • Analyze and solve problems using rational, logical approaches
  • Use relational databases for impact analysis and error identification
Key requirements
  • 2+ years as IT Developer in an agile team
  • Experience with Java/JVM/Spring-based languages
  • Object-oriented analysis and design
  • GitHub or equivalent source management
  • SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Test-driven approaches (TDD/BDD) optional advantage
