Requirements

• Strong commercial experience developing Java applications in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting live production systems.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic.
• Strong Oracle SQL knowledge.
• Experience using Git and Maven.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and containerised applications.
• A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative Agile team.
• Desirable: experience with Shell scripting.
• Desirable: Linux command line experience.
• Eligibility to obtain SC Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining and enhancing enterprise Java applications.

We are hiring a Java Developer for a hybrid role based in Telford, with 2 days per week onsite. This is a 6-month contract offering up to £450 per day inside IR35. You will join a collaborative team supporting and enhancing a suite of internal applications within a complex enterprise environment.
