Java Integration Engineer

to analyse, enhance and integrate complex enterprise applications within a

global financial services

environment. The role will use Java, Oracle and the Spring Framework to support highly customised legacy platforms and process large-scale external data feeds. You will help protect data integrity across downstream ledger, risk and margin systems by documenting data lineage and metadata. Working across Agile and Waterfall delivery, you will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and collaborate effectively within a highly matrixed organisation. What you'll do: Design and build Spring Batch and Spring Integration pipelines to ingest, transform, and validate large-scale daily CCP clearing and market data feeds. Produce comprehensive architectural specifications and interface inventories by reverse-engineering legacy code, PL/SQL packages, and database dependencies. Establish robust data mappings, lineage tracking, and schema definitions that maintain strict ledger, risk, and margin data integrity. Develop scalable, highly concurrent Java and Spring Boot microservices backed by optimized, low-latency Oracle SQL and PL/SQL procedures. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary global stakeholders to deliver clear, business-to-technical functional designs and end-to-end Agile/Waterfall deployment artifacts.
