Overview
In this role you will help modernise a sophisticated C++ trading system into a scalable, high-performance Java application. You’ll work closely with Front Office traders, product specialists and experienced engineers to design real-time trading technology with tangible business impact. You will have ownership over architectural decisions and contribute to shaping the future platform, while leveraging AI-assisted tools like Claude to boost productivity. This is a hands-on, growth-focused role in a scaling FinTech with a collaborative culture.

- strong knowledge of financial markets and experience with trading systems
- good understanding of real-time system development and latency
- comfortable using AI tools such as Claude

- curious with advanced critical thinking and problem-solving
- understanding of C++ beneficial but not essential
- minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or similar from a top-tier/Russell Group university
