We are hiring: Java Developer – Spring Boot & Microservices

Location: Glasgow – Hybrid – 2–3 days in-office.

  • Strong experience in Java development (Java 21–25) , modern Java features and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications using Spring Boot 4.x, REST APIs and microservices architecture .
  • Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Maven/Gradle, source control and automated testing .
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and containerised application deployment .
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS or similar platforms , alongside strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience within the Financial Services sector is highly valued. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitLab Duo, Claude or similar platforms is also desirable.
