Overview
In this role you will lead a growing engineering group to evolve the core platform and greenfield systems for a global fintech in the invoice finance space. You will mentor a 15–20 person team, collaborate with product and support functions, and drive architecture and process improvements to deliver a scalable, high-availability platform. The role combines hands-on tech leadership with strategic delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will shape the technical direction and enable high-quality, timely product roadmaps.

- Plan and execute Agile development cycles
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to deliver new features and support
- Drive development process improvements and innovation
- Deliver the product roadmap with quality and on-time delivery
- Build and mentor the engineering group for the core platform's future
- Work on Greenfield initiatives and evolve existing high-transaction systems
- Experience leading a development team of 10–20 people
- Background in Product org and fintech environment
- Hands-on knowledge of Java tech stack (J2EE/Spring)
- Experience with Apache NiFi
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Jenkins and environment strategy
- Strong database experience, preferably Oracle
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance monitoring on Windows and Linux
- Ability to quickly understand application source code
