Java Full Stack Developer - AWS

Location: Glasgow
Working: 5 days onsite
Contract: 6 months initially
Rate: £350/day Inside IR35 - maximum
Experience: 7+ years MUST HAVE
Future Opportunity: Potential FTC/FTE conversion

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong AWS and webMethods Integration Server experience to work on enterprise-scale applications and integrations.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Java Full Stack Development Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices
  • AWS Cloud
  • webMethods Integration Server & Flow Services
  • File processing & data transformation
  • SQL, database performance tuning & optimisation
  • ETL/Apache Flink or equivalent
  • REST APIs, messaging & event-driven architecture
  • CI/CD, Git & DevOps

Frontend:

Angular/React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support scalable Java applications and AWS solutions
  • Develop and support webMethods Flow Services and integrations
  • Deliver file-based processing and ETL/data solutions
  • Optimise application and database performance
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability
  • Work with architects, stakeholders and engineering teams
