Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with strong Snowflake experience to join our team in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, front-end development, REST APIs, and Snowflake .

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting scalable enterprise applications while working closely with business, data, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern front-end technologies.
  • Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
  • Build and maintain microservices-based applications .
  • Work with Snowflake for data storage, data integration, querying, and analytics.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations .
  • Integrate applications with Snowflake and other enterprise data platforms.
  • Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Implement unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud deployments .
  • Troubleshoot application, API, database, and data-related issues.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Core Java / Java 8+ .
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices .
  • Strong experience developing REST APIs and web services .
  • Experience with React, Angular, or similar front-end technologies .
  • Strong Snowflake experience.
  • Excellent SQL and relational database knowledge.
  • Experience with JSON, XML, and enterprise application integrations.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
