Java integration development defines this full-time Software Developer position in Langley, BC, supporting Pattison Food Group’s information systems lifecycle.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Application Support, you will develop, test, maintain, and enhance software systems. The position requires Java EE, JUnit, RESTful services, integration architectures, and database knowledge. You will also collaborate with Analysts and Business Users on technical designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, modify, integrate, test, and maintain software code
  • Support production systems and resolve identified bugs
  • Design interfaces and integration architectures
  • Perform field mapping and interface testing
  • Prepare technical manuals and support documentation

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary computer science or related education
  • Three or more years of programming or development experience
  • Strong knowledge of Java EE application servers, including JBoss
  • Experience with JUnit, RESTful services, and microservices
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems
