Overview

As Principal Software Developer, you will drive hands-on backend engineering and influence architectural direction for a high-throughput platform in telecoms and online payments. You’ll lead technical decisions within a small, senior-led R&D team and mentor peers while delivering robust, scalable systems. Responsibilities
  • Lead backend development on a large, high-throughput platform
  • Shape technical direction, standards, and architecture
  • Mentor engineers and promote best practices
  • Evaluate new technologies and collaborate with customers/stakeholders
  • Work on Azure-based, event-driven microservices
  • Develop REST APIs and manage data across SQL/NoSQL
  • Maintain hands-on coding role while guiding team decisions
  • Contribute to CI/CD and modern deployment practices
