As a Lead Software Engineer in the Data Platform & Strategy team within Corporate Risk Technology, you design and build scalable, secure data engineering solutions for enterprise risk. Responsibilities- Design, develop, and troubleshoot data-intensive applications; produce secure, high-quality production code
- Automate remediation and improve operational stability across systems
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and technical credentials
- Promote and govern AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, testing, and release readiness
- Leverage SDLC tools and AI-assisted automation to maximize value and reuse
- Drive communities of practice to adopt new technologies
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect
- Engineering & Architecture, AI/ML expertise with hands-on data platform experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, C/C++, or C#
- Experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and data lake architectures
- Experience with large-scale data processing, microservices, API design, Kafka, Redis, MemCached, Observability tools, and orchestration tools
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and setting expectations for validating AI outputs
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, security, and resiliency
- Automation, CI/CD, and full SDLC knowledge
