Build RESTful APIs with Java and Oracle ADF BC REST at CMiC on York University’s Toronto campus. Apply object-oriented programming and SQL skills.

As a Software Engineer, you will support CMiC’s front-end applications through API development. The work includes Java, Jersey, J2EE, REST over HTTP, and database-level development using SQL and PL/SQL. You will contribute across API design, maintenance, documentation, and code review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design secure, reusable, reliable, efficient code
  • Modify existing RESTful APIs for front-end applications
  • Create APIs using Oracle ADF BC REST and Jersey
  • Improve API development tools and processes
  • Document APIs, tools, and development processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years using object-oriented programming languages
  • Java programming experience and J2EE understanding
  • Understanding of REST over HTTP
  • RDBS concepts and SQL or PL/SQL experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
