Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will develop scalable Java software and microservices to support satellite and geospatial applications. You’ll contribute across the full SDLC, from design to deployment, working within a small Agile team. The role emphasizes robust RESTful APIs, cloud services, testing, and continuous improvement. You’ll participate in Scrum ceremonies and code reviews, shaping secure, high-quality software. This is an opportunity to impact space-related software systems and evolve in a DevOps-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality, scalable Java software and microservices
  • Design, implement and test new features
  • Develop RESTful APIs and cloud-based services
  • Write unit and automated tests
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and task estimation
  • Conduct code/design reviews and ensure coding, security and quality standards
  • Contribute to CI/CD, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Key requirements
  • Java 8+
  • Spring Boot / Spring Framework / Hibernate
  • RESTful APIs and HTTPS
