Overview

In this role you will contribute to a high-performance, financial data platform by writing core software across the stack. You’ll work in a flat, fast-moving environment where code quality and learning pace matter. You’ll help push innovative approaches in trading, big data, and language processing. Responsibilities
  • Cut code and implement features across the stack

Key requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science
  • 2 years of professional experience (or bright graduates)
  • Object oriented Scala or Java (or C++)
  • Dynamic programming languages: Ruby and Python
  • Web technologies: Ruby on Rails, CoffeeScript, Backbone.js, HTML, SASS/CSS
  • SQL and NoSQL databases (Redis desirable)
  • XML
  • ANTLR (desirable)
  • Build tools: Maven, CMake, Rake
  • Appetite for solving complex problems
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
