Responsibilities
  • Develop Java applications using Spring Boot and a microservices architecture
  • Containerise services with Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Build cloud-native solutions on AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and related scripting
  • Contribute to SaaS platforms serving UK clients and government bodies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, develop and deploy features
  • Ensure code quality, testing, and continuous delivery practices
  • Support production systems and participate in code reviews
Key requirements
  • 1-3 years of commercial software development experience
  • Proficient in Java
  • Experience with Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Developing cloud-native applications (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • SQL and NoSQL database experience
