Java Software Engineer

I’m working with a financial services company looking for a Java Engineer to help develop and improve their core systems.

You’ll build scalable back-end services, take ownership of projects from design through to delivery, and explore how AI can solve practical business problems.

What they’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of commercial development experience, with strong server-side Java skills
  • Experience working with Linux and databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with testing, version control, CI/CD and the full development lifecycle
  • An understanding of AI concepts and strong communication skills when working with technical and business teams

Experience with Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, LLMs or agentic AI systems would be a bonus.

This is a permanent role based in central London. Salary is dependent on experience, alongside a discretionary bonus and benefits package.
