Overview

As a Java/Fullstack Engineer within the Investment Banking & Global Capital Markets Technology group, you will build and maintain software that supports Advisory Sales & Distribution. You’ll contribute to design, development, and testing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions. You’ll follow best practices, participate in code reviews, and help drive continuous improvement and upskilling. Responsibilities
  • Participate in design, development, and testing of software applications
  • Collaborate with team to understand requirements and deliver projects
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues
  • Apply software development best practices and participate in code reviews
  • Document technical specifications and system configurations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the software engineering team
  • Engage in training and upskilling activities
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong hands-on Java EE and core Java experience
  • Experience with web service development, RESTful APIs and Services Oriented Architecture
  • OO design, design patterns, architecture and application integration
  • SQL proficiency and strong knowledge of databases
  • Experience with SpringBoot, JUnit, BDD for development and automated testing
  • Experience with Unix/Linux
  • Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience
