We're working with a company specializing in enterprise software in banking that harnesses that power of AI and data to provide details to their clients across the world. This team is currently looking to hire a series of Java Software Engineers and are hybrid in Downtown Toronto.

This opportunity offers a unique mix of enterprise stability and a fast-paced environment. The team is looking to continue growing and building scalable and effective solutions and are leveraging a modern stack and workflows in order to so.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience

• Java

• Spring Boot

• Microservices

• PostgreSQL

• Docker

• Cloud

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

• JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React or Vue) are a plus, though not a major part of the role

• Kafka is a plus

• Work done with AI tools for code and other workflows (e.g. Claude, Copilot etc.)

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

• 80% Backend development, utilizing Java

• 20% Frontend

Daily Responsibilities

• 80% Hands On
