Our banking client is looking for an experienced Java / Spring Boot Engineer to join a high-performing technology team, working on the development and enhancement of critical banking applications and services.

The successful candidate will have strong experience building scalable, secure and high-performance Java applications , with a focus on Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs . You will work closely with architects, product teams and other engineers within a modern Agile engineering environment.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong commercial experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot
  • Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs
  • Experience within banking or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
  • Strong understanding of TDD, automated testing and Agile methodologies
  • Experience working on high-volume, mission-critical applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
