Responsibilities
  • Build distributed, low-latency Java services
  • Work collaboratively in a team with pair-programming
  • Contribute to high-throughput, concurrent systems in a financial context
  • Leverage AWS and DevOps practices to deploy and operate software
  • Engage with streaming and messaging components (e.g., ActiveMQ, Kafka) and data stores (MongoDB)
Key requirements
  • 1–3 years of commercial Java development
  • Computer Science degree from a top university
  • Multithreading, concurrency, and high-throughput experience
  • AWS/Public Cloud experience with DevOps tools
  • Advocate of TDD, pair-programming and continuous delivery
