Overview

As a Software Engineer II in JPMorganChase's Commercial and Investment Bank, you will build secure, scalable software across domains within an agile team. You will contribute to production-grade code, troubleshoot, and analyze data to drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable technology that supports our global clients. Responsibilities
  • Executes software solutions, development, and troubleshooting with non-routine problem solving
  • Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms in sync with systems
  • Gathers, analyzes, and visualizes data from large datasets to improve software applications
  • Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and architecture
  • Contribute to a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Key requirements
  • Expertise in Java technologies/frameworks (Spring/Spring Boot) and REST-based services
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments for system navigation and log investigation
  • Hands-on experience in application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience in developing and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and SQL/DB querying
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security)
  • Knowledge of software applications and processes in technical disciplines (cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.)
