Java Software Engineer TD London

Build Java applications for TD in London, Ontario, using Spring Framework and RESTful APIs in a primarily onsite technology setting.

As a Software Engineer I, you will support Retail Branch Service applications within Global Technology & Solutions, Servicing Platform. The work includes Java development, user interfaces, cloud platforms, and secure coding. You will collaborate with business and technical partners to translate requirements into reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, test, maintain, and review high-quality Java code
• Develop features and perform unit or component testing
• Design and consume RESTful APIs and scalable solutions
• Support testing, deployments, defect triage, and incident resolution
• Document technical requirements, architecture, risks, and decisions

Requirements:

• Three to five years developing Java applications
• Experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot
• Experience building user interfaces and distributed applications
• Knowledge of secure coding, cloud platforms, Git, and CI/CD
• Degree, diploma, or certificate in a relevant discipline
