Java / Spring Boot Developer

Our banking client is looking for an experienced Java / Spring Boot Developer to join their technology team, working on the development and enhancement of business‑critical applications within a fast‑paced financial services environment.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable Java applications and Spring Boot microservices , working closely with architects, product owners and other engineering teams to deliver secure, high‑quality solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices
  • Previous experience within banking or financial services
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with JUnit, Mockito and automated testing
  • Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker and CI/CD
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development
  • Strong coding, problem‑solving and communication skills
  • Experience working on high‑volume, enterprise‑scale applications is desirable
