Java Spring Boot Expert

We are hiring for a Java Developer . This role focuses on hands‑on Core Java development for large-scale Market Risk technology platforms and distributed systems .
The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering experience and the ability to provide technical guidance within an Agile team.

What you bring

• 5+ years of relevant experience building large-scale, production-grade systems
• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting
• Experience with relational and/or document-oriented databases
• Ability to translate business and analytical requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to guide junior staff and influence technical direction
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and support key components of the Market Risk platform
• Develop scalable, high-performance solutions for market risk calculations and analytics
• Use AI tools to support agentic and analytical workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global counterparts
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code
• Experience using Python and Unix in production environments
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Exposure to Apache Spark and Snowflake
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Knowledge of containerized deployments and cloud-native architectures
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and DevOps best practices
• Background in financial services, particularly Market Risk or FinTech
