Must-Have Skills

  • Expert-level experience in Java and Spring Boot
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and developing complex microservices architectures
  • Proven experience building and supporting high-volume, high-scale REST APIs
  • Strong experience in application performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of web applications, distributed systems, and server technologies
  • Proven Technical Lead experience leading and mentoring development teams
  • Experience managing and guiding junior and intermediate developers
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Architects, Product Owners, Business Teams, and Technical Leads
  • Experience identifying and remediating code-level security vulnerabilities
  • Hands-on experience with security scanning tools such as Snyk, Checkmarx, SonarQube, or Veracode
  • Strong understanding of Secure SDLC and secure coding best practices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or similar
  • Strong unit testing and automation experience using JUnit, Mockito, and RESTAssured
  • Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot or similar AI/LLM tools for code generation, code optimization, and developer productivity
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex business domains

Preferred Experience

  • Financial Services, Banking, Retirement Services, or Insurance domain experience
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale Agile environments
