Overview

In this role you will shape a flexible, high-quality frontend experience for a fast-growing payments platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cross-platform, cross-device interfaces and continuously improve the product lifecycle. You’ll work in an agile, excellence-driven environment, turning business goals into intuitive UI solutions that delight millions of online shoppers. Responsibilities
  • Create intuitive, robust, and reusable user interfaces using Vanilla JS
  • Build cross platform, cross browser, responsive HTML5 and CSS3
  • Engage in the entire product development cycle to understand business objectives and user goals
  • Produce high quality solutions that will enhance or simplify existing processes
  • Work with designers to promote brand and interface guidelines
  • Encourage the use of best practices and workflows throughout the organization
  • Contribute to team discussions and stand-ups
  • Mentor Junior Team members
Key requirements
  • Excellent JavaScript (Vanilla)
  • Familiarity with some JS frameworks (e.g. Angular, Backbone)
  • Complete understanding of the full web stack
  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and HTML5
  • Knowledge of server side languages (e.g. PHP, NodeJS)
  • Knowledge of client/server testing frameworks (Mocha, Jasmine, JUnit)
  • English language proficiency and JavaScript familiarity
