Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Junior Accountant supports month-end close and provides financial insights to the business. This role suits an accounting professional progressing toward a CPA designation. Key work includes journal entries, bank reconciliations, variance analysis, and statutory remittances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries
• Complete daily bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze monthly results and support variance analysis
• Process statutory remittances and supporting documentation
• Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements

Requirements:

• Two or more years in junior accounting or similar work
• Progress toward a CPA designation
• Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
