Overview

In this Analyst Developer role you will deliver software solutions for a global fintech client in asset management. You’ll work within a Scrum team to translate client specifications into working software and ensure quality through testing and defect management. You’ll balance independent work with collaboration, owning projects and solving complex problems with innovative approaches. The role combines hands-on development with client engagement and opportunities to contribute to high-profile financial software.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and build software aligned with client specifications
  • Review and analyse client requirements
  • Estimate, propose development plans and deliver proposals
  • Perform solution testing to ensure system integrity
  • Manage defects and support quality assurance activities
  • Collaborate within a Scrum team and take ownership of projects
  • Engage with clients to understand needs and provide progress updates
  • Work independently while contributing to team objectives
Key requirements
  • Commercial software development experience
  • HTML/JavaScript/SQL/JSP/Web Services (SOAP)
  • Experience with automated software testing tools is a plus
  • Interest in finance
  • Background in software development or implementation
