Junior Analytics Engineer

In this role you help build and maintain the data foundation powering BI delivery across the EMEA region. You collaborate with senior engineers to design semantic models, curated datasets, and reusable assets on a central data platform, gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-scale data modelling and platform engineering. You’ll work with BI and Data Science teams to underpin data assets that support traditional BI and emerging AI use cases. This is an entry-to-growth position focused on learning, contributing to data quality, and developing analytics translation skills within a high-performing team.

• Design, build, and maintain semantic models and curated datasets on the central data platform under guidance
• Standardise datasets, business logic, and data models for reuse and consistency across BI teams and markets
• Onboard market-specific datasets onto the central platform by coordinating with local stakeholders
• Ensure data assets meet BI product requirements developed by the BI Development team
• Translate business needs into data structures and logic with guidance from senior colleagues
• Collaborate with Data Science & Engineering teams to understand cross-team data usage
• Contribute to data quality checks and basic performance monitoring of data models and semantic layers
• Support early-stage data foundations for AI and agentic use cases with clean, well-structured datasets
• Maintain documentation of data models, datasets, and platform assets for clarity and reuse
• Participate in peer reviews of data models and assets to maintain quality
• Follow best practices for data modelling, naming conventions, and platform governance
• Engage in training, bootcamps, and mentoring to grow technical skills
• Support testing and QA activities to ensure reliability before release

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical discipline
• Practical experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI development
• Foundational SQL knowledge with willingness to improve
• Basic familiarity with data modelling concepts (star/schema); formal experience is a plus
• Exposure to enterprise data platforms (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Snowflake) is desirable
• Awareness of Power BI or similar BI tools
• Curiosity about AI/ML and agentic technologies
• Ability to translate business needs into data solutions and develop commercial awareness
• Strong attention to detail, methodical data asset development
• Collaborative, proactive mindset with eagerness to learn from seniors
• Good communication and clear documentation skills
• Knowledge of real estate sector is a plus
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous
