Junior Application Support Analyst – trading systems

Overview
In this role you will provide technical and functional support for high-performance trading systems within a global, award-winning support team. You will help clients with order entry, risk management, and connectivity, while troubleshooting complex issues. You will coordinate deployments for new clients and test software releases with exchanges and engineers. The role is London-based, offering exposure to fintech scale and a path for a fresh STEM graduate passionate about Linux. You will contribute to delivering reliable trading systems in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Responsibilities- Respond to client support requests and inquiries
- Actively monitor critical systems and escalate issues
- Provide customer support for order entry, risk management, and exchange connectivity
- Analyze complex order and trade histories
- Coordinate deployment and configuration for new customers
- Manage distribution and installation of software enhancements and upgrades
- Collaborate with exchanges and internal software engineers to test and implement new releases
- Assist the infrastructure team in testing server and network upgrade projects
- A STEM Degree
- Demonstrable interest in working in technology
- Good understanding of Linux OS
- Ability to manage and prioritise work with minimal supervision
- Respond promptly to client needs and solicit feedback
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and contribute to rollout of solutions
