Birmingham (Commutable from: Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Rugby, Nuneaton, Stafford, Kidderminster and all surrounding areas)
Do you have Controls, Automation or a Mechatronics background, looking for a full training and development plan to become a technical expert in a progressive field?
On offer is a varied position for a large-scale global business where you will play a key role in the Design, Development and Project Management of products.
This well-established business specialises in designing and delivering automated systems for a range of commercial and industrial customers. Due to continued growth, it is now looking to strengthen its engineering team with an Automation Design Engineer.
In this role, you will assess customer requirements and develop suitable engineering solutions. You will produce technical designs and drawings, complete calculations, prepare quotations and work alongside other departments to support projects through their early design stages.
The position would suit an Aspiring Automation Engineer who is looking to develop within a forward-thinking organisation.
The Role:
- Developing technical solutions for automation projects
- Producing designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Monday - Friday days
The Person:
- Automation background - Controls, Mechatronics, Robotics.
- Looking for a Design and Project focused role.
- Commutable to Birmingham
