You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 programme. Our programme will introduce you to the investment management industry and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships enabling you to progress your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 250 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.

Our trainee programme is a fixed term one year contract paying £30,000 plus benefits. You will receive 27 days annual leave. This role is based in London, and is office based with some flexibility.

The purpose of the role

The Junior Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organisation’s technology-driven transformation by acting as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions. The role involves engaging with users to understand their processes, promoting the adoption of innovative technologies such as AI and automation, and ensuring effective use of existing systems. Additionally, the Analyst provides vital administrative support to the Agile delivery process, helping the team stay organised and efficient in managing work items and priorities.

Responsibilities include:

Reporting to the Business Sytems and AI Lead within the Technology team, the Junior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for:

• Engage with business teams to understand their processes, challenges, and requirements
• Evangelise Liontrust’s strategic technologies and solutions, including AI and self-service data
• Support users in adopting and using existing systems effectively
• Research new and evolving technologies, including AI, assess their potential value to the business and consider adoption strategies
• Present ideas, findings, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with the wider Technology team to deliver improvements and innovations
• Help with the administration and management of Technology projects, including the Agile work items for the Team

Experience

• Demonstrable knowledge of business information systems and processes, gained through education in an IT-related field or professional experience.
• Demonstrable interest or experience in the asset management industry
• Experience using and developing AI Agents is advantageous
