In this role you will contribute to high-performance, real-time trading software within a growing technology team. You will develop features in C# and .NET, gain hands-on experience with trading systems, and learn from senior engineers. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle, focusing on reliability, performance, and maintainability. Responsibilities- Develop and enhance applications using C# and modern .NET
- Work on real-time, performance-critical trading technology
- Learn from experienced senior software engineers
- Build new features and improve existing systems
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Work with SQL and relational databases
- Investigate technical issues and troubleshoot production systems
- Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging
- Gain exposure to performance optimisation, scalability and system reliability
- Work across the full software development lifecycle
- Develop understanding of professional software engineering best practices
- 2:1 degree in a STEM subject
- Commercial experience developing software with C#
- Good understanding of .NET / .NET Core
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for software engineering and learning new technologies
- Good communication skills and the ability to learn from experienced developers
