Junior Cloud Engineer AWS Azure

Build cloud operations expertise with Sleep Country Canada as a Junior Cloud Engineer in hybrid Brampton, supporting AWS, Azure, and monitoring.

This full-time position supports reliable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms. You will maintain resources, troubleshoot incidents, contribute scripts and infrastructure-as-code, and support CI/CD pipelines. The role suits candidates with approximately 2–4 years of infrastructure or cloud experience and a bachelor’s degree.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Configure resources, perform updates, patch systems, and monitor performance
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and escalate complex issues
• Participate in rotational 24/7 on-call support using runbooks
• Maintain scripts, infrastructure-as-code templates, and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Two to four years of infrastructure or cloud experience
• Knowledge of cloud services, architecture, security, and backups
• Experience with scripting, monitoring, version control, and CI/CD
• Comfort working rotational on-call support and documenting incidents
