Junior Electronic Trading Support Engineer

Overview
In this role you support HRT’s live trading environment, ensuring smooth market operations and rapid response to issues. You work with the TradeOps team to manage infrastructure, risk, and regulatory tasks while enabling new trading initiatives. You act as the first line of defense during outages and changes to the production platform. You collaborate with exchanges and internal desks to balance speed, compliance, and PnL in a high-pressure setting. - Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (CS, Engineering, Physics, Math, etc.)
- Working knowledge of UNIX systems
- Experience with a scripting language (Python, Perl, Bash)
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy interfacing with clients, both internal and external
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Understanding of Market Data/Order Entry systems and interest in how modern electronic markets work
- Industry experience and/or Series 7 or 57 certification is preferred
