Overview
In this role you will build and support a modern reconciliation platform that powers global financial operations. You will work on a full stack using Java, Angular, NoSQL, and Oracle within a collaborative tech team that values hands-on ownership and continuous improvement. You’ll translate design specs into working software, address security gaps, and coach junior engineers. This position offers exposure to mission-critical systems at global scale and a hybrid work arrangement, with opportunities to grow technical depth and impact.

- Design and deliver full stack features for the reconciliation platform using Java, Angular, NoSQL, and Oracle
- Analyze existing code and scripts to identify and implement system enhancements
- Collaborate with users, clients, and tech teams to define and implement solutions
- Apply core programming principles to turn designs into working software
- Assess applications for vulnerabilities, test, and fix security gaps
- Mentor junior developers and analysts on best practices
- Evaluate technical issues and select appropriate solutions based on engineering experience
- Assess risk in technical decisions and escalate control issues to protect Citi and clients
- 2-5 years of relevant software development experience
- Hands-on development with Java and Angular in a full stack environment
- Working knowledge of NoSQL and Oracle databases
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in technical settings
- Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
