Junior General Accountant Financial Reporting

Build financial reporting expertise as a Junior General Accountant supporting ledgers, reconciliations, and analysis within a collaborative finance team. Apply advanced Excel skills to accurate accounting work.

Reporting to the GL Manager, you will support compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. This junior accounting position includes journal entries, account reconciliations, closing activities, and standard financial reports. You will learn company policies, procedures, and systems while handling regular issues independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classify and record financial transactions according to company procedures
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts accurately
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare trial balances, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
• Investigate discrepancies and analyze basic financial data

Requirements:

• CPA, CGA, or CA designation, or nearing completion
• Two or more years of progressive similar experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and recognize when guidance is needed
