Junior Infrastructure Engineer – Linux / Networks

In this role you will support mission-critical infrastructure underpinning a leading trading platform for banks and institutional traders. You will join a focused Support team and work closely with sales and engineering to resolve infrastructure and network issues. You will contribute to automation, documentation, and the reliability of globally distributed data centers. • Respond to infrastructure and network inquiries from clients
• Troubleshoot server issues and network connectivity
• Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
• Analyze server failures and implement preventive solutions
• Automate server deployment and lifecycle tasks
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain globally distributed datacentre infrastructure

• STEM Degree
• 2+ years’ experience supporting mission critical infrastructure
• Red Hat Linux Certification or equivalent
• comfortable on the command line
• Hardware experience including setup and maintenance
• Some networking experience
• Ideally CCNA
• Virtualisation (VMware)

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Clear communication with customers and cross-functional teams
• Team collaboration in a fast-paced environment
• Red Hat Linux administration
• Linux command line proficiency
• Networking basics (CCNA level)
