Responsibilities
  • Develop backend Java solutions for trading systems and related platforms
  • Contribute to a range of projects across the business (marketplace, website, payments, bots)
  • Collaborate in an Agile team and practice TDD
  • Expand skill set across the tech stack as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Key requirements
  • Degree with 2:1 or higher in Computer Science or related STEM from a top-tier university
  • Commercial Java development experience
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and TDD
  • Strong understanding of CS fundamentals (OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms)
  • Willingness to learn additional technologies (Scala, Kotlin, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux) and adapt to project needs
