Junior Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Support Kubernetes platforms remotely from Québec City with skills in containerized applications, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure troubleshooting. Help maintain reliable digital systems.

Rockland Tech Hub seeks a Junior Kubernetes Platform Engineer for full-time remote work. You will support containerized applications and Kubernetes-based infrastructure while developing practical platform engineering experience. The role includes cluster configuration, monitoring, automation, security, and scalability responsibilities under senior guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Kubernetes infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance
• Configure and monitor Kubernetes clusters
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
• Troubleshoot environment issues and platform incidents
• Document configurations, procedures, and infrastructure-as-code templates

Requirements:

• Strong troubleshooting skills for Kubernetes and related infrastructure
• Foundational knowledge of microservices and containerized applications
• Basic Kubernetes, Docker, cloud, networking, and infrastructure-as-code knowledge
• Programming ability in Python, Go, or Bash
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
